Contact Sheet

The "contact sheet" was our first project for Comm. 240. Through out this project I was hoping to achieve some advancement in the basic skills of photoshop and photo editing capabilities.
For this project I decided to use some random photos on my camera of events in the past in which I had fun. I had no particular reason for each photo, only that as a whole each of them represented a fun memory. So i decided to try something new and fun with some old but fun pictures.

While first working on this project, the thing I found most frustrating was resizing and re-cropping images while making sure that the quality of the picture stayed aesthetically pleasing. This was frustrating until the Prof. taught us in the ways of properly using edit image in photoshop. Afterwards the project was pretty straight forward and was met with no other serious problems.

After dealing with the small issues, this project was actually quite enjoyable and fun to complete. My favorite part of the project was most likely experimenting with the wide variety of photo filters. Using these filters really gave me a sense of creative control and I feel that in future projects this tool will be incredibly useful.

After completing this project and looking back on it, I realized that the thing I am most proud of is it the fact that it wasn't very hard. In fact I enjoyed working on this project. I am proud of myself that i actually enjoyed working on something.

Finally if I had more time I would have like to experiment with more things besides filters. I would have loved to worked with other aspects of photoshop or other editing tools. I felt as though the exquisite corpse could have been part of the contact sheet.
